Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct for Events and Activities of the IFS Academy

The Code of Conduct is intended for anyone who participates, teaches, observes or is otherwise present at a training, conference, workshop or other event organized by the IFS Academy.

At the IFS Academy, we place great importance on creating and maintaining a respectful and appreciative learning environment - for yourself and others. Everyone is welcome, but not all behavior is acceptable.

Behavior that does not conform to our values includes:

  • Aggressive or hostile verbal expressions and/or behaviors

  • Displaying or allowing inappropriate images in public areas

  • intimidation or harassment

  • Unwanted or unannounced photography or recordings

  • Constant or frequent interruptions of training activities

  • Inappropriate physical contact

  • Unwelcome sexual attention

  • Disrespect for the experiences or backgrounds of others, especially those from marginalized groups

  • Inability to work effectively in a group, including unwillingness to resolve conflicts, even with the support of training staff

  • Promoting or encouraging any of the above behaviors

The IFS Academy reserves the right to take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with this Code of Conduct, including exclusion from events.

Confidentiality:

Although our training is not therapy, it is important that any personal information shared during training is kept confidential and should not be shared outside of the training group unless the individual concerned has given their explicit consent.

Confidential information may only be disclosed if it is necessary to protect the safety, health or well-being of a person or to comply with legal obligations. Participants are responsible for knowing and complying with the professional regulations that apply to them.

Online community:

Our online platforms provide space for the exchange of experiences with the IFS model. Here too, we ask you to observe the following guidelines:

  • Advertising posts: Please refrain from personal advertising in other posts.

  • Confidentiality: Do not publish any information that could compromise client confidentiality.

  • Medical Disclaimer: Our online communities are not a substitute for clinical diagnosis or treatment. In case of crisis, please contact your local emergency services.

The opinions and content in our online groups do not necessarily reflect the views of IFS Academy. If you have any questions about online community matters, please contact our contacts.
