1. Contact details of the participants:
All participants in training courses organized by IFS Akademie GbR are required to provide their full contact details, including email address. This data is stored in a secure database and used to manage course participation. Contact details are shared exclusively with IFS Akademie GbR, the international IFS Institute (IFSI), training staff and other participants in the same course. They are not passed on to uninvolved third parties. Participants who do not want their contact details to be shared with other participants in the same course must inform the course administration.
2. Binding guidelines of the IFS Akademie GbR or the IFSI:
All participants in the IFS Akademie GbR Level 1-3 training courses must read and accept the following IFSI guidelines:
• Security and confidentiality statement
• Policy on the rejection of applications
• Confirmation of admission criteria
The IFS Akademie GbR adopts these guidelines of the international IFS Institute (IFSI) for its training courses.
3. Deposit and payment terms:
A deposit is required to reserve a place on the training course. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The full participation fee must be paid no later than 12 weeks before the start of the training course. After this point, the full fee is non-refundable. If you cancel up to 12 weeks before the event, the fee will be refunded, less the deposit. All payments are non-transferable. Participants who fail to meet the payment deadlines will lose their place unless alternative payment arrangements have been made.
4. Certificate of participation:
To receive a certificate of attendance, the minimum number of hours of attendance must be met. The required hours are specified in the relevant course brochure. Attendance is recorded during the event. If the minimum number of hours of attendance is not met, the entire training section must be repeated at the regular cost.
5. Cancellations and insurance:
The IFS Akademie GbR assumes no responsibility for travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants in the event of cancellation of the training by the participant or by the IFS Akademie GbR itself. Participants are therefore advised to take out appropriate insurance. Should the IFS Akademie GbR have to cancel a course, the course fee already paid will be refunded in full.
6. Changes in training format:
In exceptional cases, IFS Akademie GbR reserves the right to convert a classroom training course to an online format. If this change is made more than eight weeks before the start of the training, the full course fee will be refunded in the event of withdrawal. If the change is made within eight weeks before the start of the training course or during the training course, no full refund will be offered. In this case, however, participants will receive a pro rata refund of 10%.
7. Special needs:
Participants with special access or support needs should contact IFS Akademie GbR as early as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
8. Changes to venues and dates:
Venues and dates may change. In this case, participants will be informed in good time via the contact details provided.
9. Recording of the training:
Recording training content by participants is strictly prohibited. However, IFS Akademie GbR reserves the right to record parts of the training for recording purposes for the professional development of employees. Participants will be informed in advance and asked for their consent.
In certain cases, recordings of non-IFS training courses may be made available to participants. These recordings are for the educational purposes of participants only and may not be redistributed or shared on social media.
10. Disputes:
In the event of a dispute, participants should first contact the IFS Akademie GbR. If the dispute arises during a Level 1-3 training course at the IFS Akademie GbR, the complaints policy of the international IFS Institute (IFSI) applies.
11. Change of Conditions:
The IFS Akademie GbR reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be informed of all relevant changes.
