IFS Regular Meeting
Topic: Eating Disorders

Course description

IFS & Eating Disorders:

Eating disorders are among the most complex and challenging conditions in psychotherapeutic practice. The IFS model offers a particularly mindful and effective approach – yet new questions constantly arise in practical application.

This open online exchange creates space to share precisely these questions: What do we experience in our work with clients with eating disorders? Which aspects do we encounter most frequently? Where are the stumbling blocks – and what provides support?

Format: Exchange & Learning.

In a respectful atmosphere, IFS practitioners and interested individuals come together to share experiences, learn from each other, and reflect together. There is no fixed curriculum – the focus is on the topics brought by the participants.

Target group:

This format is particularly suitable for licensed psychotherapists and clinically active professionals who

  • If you would like to already use IFS in your practice or learn more about it

  • want to exchange ideas collegially on this specific topic or

  • They seek impulses and perspectives that they can directly incorporate into their work.

Come as you are – with your questions, your experiences and your curiosity.

Moderation: Mag. Laura Milojevic

Laura Milojevic is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in systemic family therapy and trauma therapy – and one of the few German-speaking therapists with IFS Level 3 certification.

She completed her IFS training directly at the IFSI in the USA, studying with Richard Schwartz, Ann Sinko, and Einat Bronstein, among others. Since then, she has continuously deepened her expertise through specialized consultation groups and advanced training courses – including those on trauma, eating disorders, addiction, and group work using IFS.

In addition to her therapeutic practice in Vienna, Laura works as a training assistant for the IFS Academy and leads her own introductory IFS workshops for psychotherapists.
